✓Promote heart health: Replacing saturated fatty acids with monounsaturated and/or polyunsaturated fatty acids in the diet helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. Walnuts help to improve the elasticity of blood vessels. This positive effect is achieved with a daily consumption of 30g of walnuts.
✓Antioxidanteffect: Raw nuts are rich in vitamin E, which helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.
✓Supportfor skin and hair: Raw nuts contain zinc, which contributes to normal skin and hair.
✓Strengthen bone health: Nuts, especially almonds, contain calcium, magnesium and phosphorus, which are important for normal bones.

Tips for storing organic nuts
Nuts in raw food quality can be kept for several months. If you buy organic nuts, it is best to store them in a cool, dry and dark place. The nuts should be well packaged and stored in a cool place. Chopped raw nuts are best kept in the fridge and should ideally be eaten within four weeks. Shelled nuts are also suitable for freezing.
FAQs - Frequently asked questions about organic nuts
What is the recommended daily intake of raw nuts?
According to the German Nutrition Society (DGE), you can eat 25 grams of nuts (about a handful) a day.
What is the difference between raw and roasted nuts?
Raw nuts are not heated and therefore retain their natural nutrients. The fats contained in roasted nuts are denatured by heating and change their molecular structure.
Are organic nuts a good source of protein for vegans and vegetarians?
Absolutely! Organic nuts are an excellent plant-based source of protein and also provide essential amino acids. They are therefore a valuable addition to the diet of vegetarians and vegans in particular.
