World first - Reclosable, garden compostable zipper
Are you looking for a sustainable packaging alternative? Our world first is not only garden compostable, but also resealable! Our packaging solution is made from FSC-certified paper, cellulose and GMO-free starch and is therefore 100% free from harmful substances and plastic.
High oxygen and water vapour barrier
Our packaging solution offers a high oxygen and water vapour barrier, which ensures optimum product protection. The quality of our packaging has been confirmed in extensive storage tests and laboratory analyses. The packaging solution is therefore not only sustainable, but also functional and offers the best possible protection for our products.
Disposal of the bag
To dispose of the bag, please remove the label beforehand - this will be disposed of with the residual waste. The garden compostable packaging decomposes completely and without harmful substances and works in a natural cycle. If the packaging is disposed of in your home compost, this decomposition process takes around 180 days - slightly longer depending on the time of year. If you do not have your own compost, it is best to dispose of the packaging in the yellow bag or the recycling bin. As film cannot be sorted in the organic waste bin due to its contamination, it unfortunately makes no sense to dispose of it in the organic waste bin at present. Regardless of where the packaging is disposed of, it does not cause any damage, does not produce microplastics, saves CO2 and conserves fossil resources.
As we still have remaining stocks of our previous packaging, the changeover will take place gradually. It is therefore possible that during the transition phase you may still receive products packaged in transparent polypropylene bags that can be recycled in residual waste.
We would like to assure you that we are always committed to protecting our environment and would like to make a further contribution by switching to garden compostable stand-up pouches.
