Skin cream with coconut milk - a recipe from Eva Marbach
Ingredients:
- 50 g vegetable fat
- 60 g coconut milk
- 200 ml water
- Optional: 5-10 drops of baking flavouring or essential oil for a fragrance
- Heat-resistant container (suitable for a bain-marie) for the cream, e.g. a screw-top jar
- hand mixer
Preparation:
1. stir the coconut milk well or put it briefly in a blender to create a homogeneous mixture.
2. place the vegetable fat and coconut milk together in a heatproof jar and heat in a bain-marie until the ingredients melt and stir together.
3. now also heat the 200 ml of water in a heatproof container in a bain-marie.
4. then remove both containers from the bain-marie and gradually pour the heated water into the coconut milk and fat mixture, stirring constantly.
5. place the container in a cold water bath and mix the mixture with a hand mixer until a milky liquid is formed and then a firm cream.
6. Optional: the baking flavouring or essential oil can now be added and stirred in.
The cream is very rich and is therefore ideal as a body cream in the cold season. It can be used on the face as a treatment for dry skin. It should then be removed with a cloth after application and application.
Important: This coconut milk cream does not contain any preservatives. It will therefore only keep for a few days if not refrigerated, but a little longer in the fridge.

Lip balm made from coconut oil
Ingredients:
- 20 g Dr. Goerg coconut oil
- 30 g shea butter
- Optional: a few drops of almond oil
- A small clean container (jar)
1. heat the coconut oil and shea butter together in a bain-marie and mix well with a stick.
2. if desired: add 2-3 drops of almond oil and mix again.
3. Then spread the finished lip balm into the jar, preferably before it has cooled completely - done!
The coconut oil helps to moisturise the lips particularly well and provides them with Vitamix E. Shea butter is very rich in lipids and is particularly good for dry, chapped and stressed skin. Thanks to the shea butter content, the lip balm also retains a certain firmness. The perfect combination for winter lips!
Hair care with pure coconut oil
Ingredients:
- Dr. Goerg Coconut oil
Leave-in top care for damaged hair:
Apply sparingly to damp ends after shampooing and to the lengths of long hair. Everyone has to try out which amount is just right and is completely absorbed by the hair. If only the tips are being cared for, it is usually sufficient to apply a pinch of coconut oil to the fingers.
Restorative treatment for fine, brittle hair:
Before shampooing, depending on hair length and dryness, massage 1-3 teaspoons into damp hair and leave the coconut oil on for approx. 5-10 mins. The hair can then be washed as usual with a mild shampoo.
