These three tips will help you with your first cultivation:
- Use a clean and thoroughly cleaned germination device. Dirt and impurities favour the formation of mould.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before placing the seeds in the germinator. Bacteria from your hands can otherwise affect the germination of the seeds or encourage mould growth.
- Water the sprouts daily with fresh water. This will prevent mould from forming as bacteria are washed away.

Can I place several sprouting devices on top of each other?
Germination devices such as a sprouting tower can be perfectly stacked on top of each other. Three germination trays are usually placed on top of each other. The
water added to the top then runs through all levels. You can then grow various sprouts in the sprouting tower and Keimlinge. However, do not stack them too high, as the more levels the tower has, the greater the risk of mould growth.
What material is the germination device made of?
Germinators are made of glass, acrylic glass or clay. Sprouting towers are usually made of acrylic glass. Higher quality models are made of clay or terracotta. Sprouting jars are made of conventional glass.
