Which plants can I grow in the Freshlife germination bowl set?
You can use any seeds that are suitable for growing sprouts without any problems. You should definitely try mung beans, wheat grass, barley grass, peas or radish seeds. Cress is particularly nice to grow. With the sprouting bowl set and your Freshlife sprouter, you can expect crunchy and flavoursome results. Nuts are unsuitable for sprouting in the Freshlife. Use sprouting seeds that are labelled as such or are known for their use as Keimlinge and sprouts. If you are not sure, consult the specialist literature.
What is included in the Freshlife sprouting bowl set?
When you receive the Freshlife sprouting bowl set, you can immediately increase the capacity of your Freshlife sprouter. Simply insert the additional sprouting bowl. You do not need to screw anything together, the sprouting bowl set is ready for use immediately. The set includes a practical sprinkler and two water pipe extensions. The sprouting bowl set comes with four fixing clips to secure it in place. You will receive two extra sprouting grids to maximise the germination capacity of your sprouter.
Do I also need the Freshlife sprouter to use the sprouting bowl set?
The set is designed as a capacity extension to the Freshlife sprouter. Without the Freshlife sprouter, the Freshlife sprouting bowls are a little more complicated to use for sprouts and grasses. Anyone who has previously grown their sprouts in mason jars or in a sprout tower will love the convenience of the Freshlife sprouter. The Freshlife sprouter is the basis of the set.
Do I need to clean the Freshlife sprouting bowl set?
We recommend that you clean it after every sprout cultivation. In addition to fresh water, hygiene is extremely important for successful sprout cultivation. The optimal growing conditions of young plants often give bacteria and fungi the opportunity to settle and develop rapidly. Therefore, please wash all parts thoroughly under running water. To make it easier to remove dried plant residues, you can place the parts of the set in a warm washing solution and remove any residues of the germination process after the required contact time. Thorough rinsing and drying is recommended.
