Pistazienkerne: Das kulinarische Juwel im globalen Handel
Pistachio kernels are not only a popular delicacy, but also play an important role in global trade. Their economic relevance has increased significantly in recent decades. The most important producing countries are Iran, the USA, Turkey and, increasingly, Spain. These countries supply the majority of pistachios traded worldwide and have made a name for themselves thanks to their quality and production capacities.

As demand for pistachio kernels increases, so does awareness of sustainable cultivation methods and fair trade practices. Countries such as Spain are focussing on environmentally friendly production techniques and fair, direct trade, which helps them to differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive market.

Unsere Pistazien aus Spanien: naturbelassen und fair
Our natural pistachio kernels come from Castilla la Mancha and were originally introduced by the Romans. The sustainable pistachios are produced in Mediterranean temperatures under the Spanish sun on a total area of around 10,000 hectares according to strict parameters and quality standards. Our premium variety Kerman belongs to the absolute premium class.
Food safety is our top priority. Your health and well-being are at the centre of everything we do. That is why we process our pistachios from Spain in separate facilities, so that the possibility of cross-contamination with allergens is virtually eliminated. Regular employee training on the subject of food safety is a matter of course for our small farmers. As part of a programme to promote food safety, scientific and food safety experts are invited to regularly review our internal systems and procedures.
Unsere Bio-Kleinbauern respektieren die Umwelt durch:
- Responsible use of energy & natural resources
- Preservation of biodiversity & the regional ecological balance
- Improvement of soil fertility
- Preservation of water quality
The result? The natural, unadulterated flavour of our natural pistachios. In short: quality you can taste. That's why our pistachio kernels are officially certified by the Spanish Committee for Organic Agriculture CAAE (Comité de Agricultura Ecológica).
