Raw almond butter

The almond has been an important food for humans for centuries. There are also numerous legends and myths surrounding this marvellous seed: in ancient Greece, it was said that the almond tree was created from drops of blood from the goddess Cybele. In 1400 BC, the almond is mentioned in the fourth book of Moses as an almond tree that suddenly blossomed. In ancient Rome, the almond was considered a delicacy and a symbol of fertility.

The almond butter from Keimling almond purée is somewhat darker, stronger, nuttier and more rustic than the white, ultra-fine almond purée, a really full-flavoured nut purée. It is ideal for nut milk recipes, raw food biscuits and bars, marzipan, as well as sweet and savoury dips and sauces.
It also works very well in bread recipes and crackers!

Incredibly delicious and versatile: our raw almond butter

Lovingly handcrafted - this describes the creation of our wonderful almond paste from the very beginning. The almond trees for our first-class almonds are grown on small farms in Spain. The natural conditions of organic cultivation allow sun-kissed fruit to ripen. After harvesting, the almond kernels are ground in stone mills. The mills are operated so slowly and gently by hand that the kernels are never heated above 45 °C. In this way, all the important nutrients are preserved, the raw food quality is guaranteed and the flavour is indescribably aromatic.

Can I use the raw almond butter to make almond drinks as an alternative to milk?
Yes, simply add 2 tablespoons of almond paste and half a litre of water to Vitamix and you can enjoy delicious almond milk just a few moments later. If you like almond milk sweet, you can add 2 to 3 dates before blending. Almond butter is a great and versatile food both on its own and as an ingredient. Sweet and savoury dishes - almonds always go well with them.
I tried almond mayonnaise at a reception. It was delicious and I enjoyed it very much. Can I make almond mayonnaise from almond butter?
You can make a mayonnaise with the almond butter. However, it will not be as light-coloured as expected, as the almond Keimling almond paste also contains the shells of the almonds. For a wholesome version of a raw almond mayonnaise, add 2 tablespoons of almond paste, 100 ml of water, salt to taste, juice of half a lemon, juice of half an orange, spices such as mustard seeds or turmeric to your Vitamix and blend at medium speed. Now slowly pour 200 ml of cold-pressed oil through the lid hole into the Vitamix while it is running - until the desired consistency is achieved.
My children like chocolate ice cream. How can I prepare a healthy, energising and delicious refreshment with almond butter?
How about half a litre of cold almond milk, four frozen bananas, two tablespoons of almond butter, two tablespoons of raw cocoa beans, some vanilla and six large dates. Do your children like the crunchy feeling in their mouths? Just before the end, add 2 dried figs to the blender. Offer chocolate ice cream with a wink!
I've heard that you can make a milk substitute from almonds or almond puree. I don't tolerate lactose.
Almonds do not contain lactose or milk protein. They are lactose-free. The almond butter from Keimling is made without additives and is therefore also ideal for making vegan drinks as part of a lactose- and milk protein-free diet.

Mandelmus aus der Drogerie oder dem Supermarkt ist gar kein Vergleich, es ist super cremig und süßlich und schmeckt intensiv nach Mandeln, und top Rohkost Qualität, großer Bonuspunkt dafür, dass die Mandeln nicht aus Kalifornien kommen

Super lecker!

Das Mandelmuss in Rohkostqualität ist für mich am leckersten)) Kaufe es seit Jahren, bei uns in der Familie lieben es alle.
Für sich alleine schmeckt das Mandelmuss vielleicht ein wenig trocken, aber mit Honig (am besten mit Waldhonig) zusammen ist es super lecker!
