Intensive nutrient kick
Not all juicers are the same
- Centrifugal juicers may be efficient and fast, but they are noisy and bad for the vitamins and enzymes they contain. The high speed causes a lot of oxygen to be whirled in, which destroys the sensitive ingredients of your pressed product in a very short time. The heat also damages the juice, which is then no longer of raw food quality. For these reasons, you will not find centrifugal juicers in our online shop.
- Slow juicers are unreservedly the first choice for juicing. They have become increasingly popular since the 1990s and imitate the process of pressing by hand. With a slowly rotating press screw, the best is extracted from fruit and vegetables in a powerful but gentle way. The remains of the fruit end up in a pomace container. The juice remains intensely coloured, homogeneous and aromatic for a long time and retains its maximum nutrient content. All the juicers you can buy from us are slow juicers with leisurely rotation speeds of between around 45 and 90 rpm.
- Steam juicers are primarily suitable for berries such as strawberries, blackcurrants or raspberries. The fruit, which is placed in one of 3 containers in the steam juicer, is heated by steam using a hob. The resulting juice then runs into a separate juice container. The advantage of this type of juicer is that germs and bacteria are killed thanks to the heat generated, but unfortunately heat-sensitive ingredients cannot withstand the high temperatures. These are often lost during the juicing process. As we attach great importance to the gentle processing and preservation of vitamins, you will not find these juicers in our range either
So it's clear which juicer you should choose: a slow juicer! Take your time, because only then will the goodness of your fruit and vegetables really be preserved and end up in your juice glass.

Frequently asked questions
What should I look out for when buying a slow juicer?
Horizontal or vertical juicer - which is better?
How long does a juicer last on average?
Which juicers are the best?
To get the best out of your fruit and vegetables, you should opt for a slow juicer. No ingredients are lost through heating or centrifugal force and everything that should end up in your glass ends up in it. The leftovers are also collected in a pomace so that they can be reused.
Which fruit should not go in the juicer?
Fruit and vegetables that contain a lot of starch should not end up in your juicer. It is better to use a blender to prepare these types of fruit. Mangoes, bananas and avocados, for example, are particularly starchy.
