microgreensRuccola, also known as salad rocket, is a savoury seasoning plant from Mediterranean cuisine. Thanks to its piquant flavour, it is ideal as a microgreen for tasty dishes. Even small amounts add that certain something to salads and vegetable dishes, and
as rocket seed is mucilaginous, it is mainly grown as a microgreen in a sprouter and should only be soaked for a maximum of 15 minutes.
Note: Due to its very high iodine content, rocket should only be consumed very sparingly by people with thyroid problems.
