Cocoa butter is the ideal ingredient for homemade chocolate and pralines. It is perfect for sweet desserts and ice creams as well as for making chocolate glazes.
Fine flavoured cocoa
Our raw cocoa butter is made from 100% Criollo cocoa beans. Criollo cocoa is one of the finest cocoa varieties in the world. It is characterised by its fine cocoa note and delicate aroma. This variety is considered to be particularly low in acidity and contains fewer bitter substances. Gentle processing without heat guarantees the preservation of the original, pure cocoa flavour.
High-quality natural product without chemical treatment
Cocoa butter is produced by hand. After harvesting, the seeds are removed from the pods and encased in pulp. Fermentation then takes place for three to four days, during which the pulp decomposes naturally. This allows the fine cocoa flavour to develop perfectly. The cocoa beans are then dried in the sun. The beans are then broken into small pieces, known as nibs, and ground until a paste is formed. The mass is then pressed so that the cocoa fat, known as cocoa butter, separates from the other ingredients. The Keimling Naturkost cocoa butter is therefore a first-class natural product without any chemical treatment.

Nourish your skin with natural cocoa oil. Care with cocoa butter moisturises and gives your hair shine. Cocoa butter is also popular as a fragrant massage oil. Simply melt briefly in a water bath or directly in your hand and apply a thin layer.
