The surprisingly different chocolate dream
The delicious "Queen Beans" are fascinatingly different from other cocoa treats: first the bittersweet chocolate shell caresses the tongue. Then comes the surprise of the flowery, tangy fruit flesh and finally, as the crunchy centre of seduction, the unfermented cocoa bean! The "queen" of cocoa bean snacks at any time of year, whether as a gift or to enjoy yourself!
Unfermented and with tingling cocoa pulp
All ingredients, with the exception of the coconut blossom sugar, are of raw food quality and contain not only the original cocoa flavour, but also valuable ingredients. The cocoa beans for our "Queen Beans" are gently dried at 42 °C and are not fermented. By avoiding fermentation, the cocoa beans retain their original flavour. The white pulp that surrounds each individual bean has a delicately tart flavour and gives the treat its refreshing taste. The Queen Beans get their chocolatey, sweet flavour from the bittersweet coating of raw cocoa sweetened with natural coconut blossom sugar.
From small-scale organic farming
The cocoa beans for the chocolate-coated Queen Beans come from a family-run smallholder co-operative in Sri Lanka. There, family farms cultivate the cocoa plants in small organic forest gardens, together with other crops such as coconut, papaya and jackfruit. This creates an ecologically valuable mixed culture in which the plants protect each other from drying out and in which pesticides or artificial fertilisers can be completely dispensed with. Despite the small cultivation area of only 10 hectares of land in total, consistent quality and a fair income for the families are guaranteed.

Queenbeans
Also, ich war jahrelang begeistert von allem, was ich bei Keimling gekauft habe, aber diese Queenbeans sind wirklich eine große Enttäuschung! Die Bohnen sind trocken und pappig und ihnen fehlt der 'crunch'. Da gibt es deutlich bessere für den Preis!

Boar
Wahnsinn, dass die reine Kakaobohne nur was für Hartgesottene ist, da sehr bitter usw wusste ich schon, deshalb habe ich nicht erwartet, dass mir das hier wirklich schmecken & bekommen sollte, habe sie auch nur gekauft, weil sie stark reduziert waren. Aber ne Wahnsinn schmeckt echt sehr gut & musste mich tatsächlich beherrschen, nicht die ganze Packung auf einmal zu essen!
Überraschende Nascherei
Die Queen Beans sind meine kleine Luxus Nascherei. Sie sind eine ungewöhnliche, spannende und ausgewogene Kombination, sowohl geschmacklich wie auch von der Textur her. Ich habe bisher kein vergleichbares Produkt gegessen. Da ich sie Stück für Stück genieße stört mich auch der Preis nicht.
