Orange marmalade
In the Personal Blender
Ingredients:
- 1 organic orange with peel
- 1 tsp raw agave syrup ( preferably from Keimling Naturkost)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 geh. teaspoon of psyllium husks (from Govinda via Keimling Naturkost)
Preparation:
1. first place the psyllium husks in the small blender jug of a personal blender, e.g. Personal Blender® PBG 5050, and grind to a powder.
2. now remove the peel from the orange using a zester or peeler. Hardly any of the white skin should be visible. This is not used as the marmalade would otherwise taste too bitter.
3. then peel the orange and put the flesh together with the peel and the remaining ingredients into the blender jug and blend everything into a thick marmalade.
4. the psyllium husks begin to swell quickly because they are finely ground. The jam is therefore ready to eat quickly.
The jam will keep for several weeks in the fridge in a sealed jar.
