
Power juices and cabbages for winter evenings
Discover how you can recharge your batteries in winter with power juices or brighten up long evenings with healthy power snacks. We have selected some very simple recipes for juicers and dehydrators:
Try our recipe for homemade sweet crisps from the dehydrator in three flavours. Sweet potatoes are considered one of the most nutritious vegetables and are packed full of phytonutrients. Sweet potato crisps are therefore the perfect combination of plant power and a cosy snack.
You can also activate your metabolism with a delicious vitamin power juice made from ginger and radish, or simply treat yourself to a wintery extra dose of vitamin C in our delicious beetroot and apple juice.

Chips from the sweet potato
For approx. 500 g sweet potatoes
Curry chips
Ingredients:
- 50 ml Raggia di San Vito olive oil
- 1 tsp agave syrup (preferably from Keimling Naturkost)
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 200 ml water
- 3 tsp salt
- 3 tsp curry powder
Sweet and sour crisps
Ingredients:
- 50 ml sesame oil
- 1 tbsp agave syrup (preferably from Keimling Naturkost)
- 200 ml water
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Paprika chips
Ingredients:
- 50 ml sesame oil
- 1 tbsp agave syrup (preferably from Keimling Naturkost)
- 200 ml water
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 tsp paprika powder
- 2 tsp salt
Preparation for all variations:
1. Peel the sweet potatoes, cut into wafer-thin slices using a V-shaped vegetable slicer and place in a bowl.
2. mix the marinade briefly in a blender (e.g. Vitamix), then pour over the sweet potatoes and mix well.
3. leave to marinate for at least 60 minutes or overnight, then place on a dehydrating tray and dehydrate at 42°C for approx. 18 hours.
Tip: The thinner you slice the sweet potatoes, the crispier the crisps will be. They will keep for a long time if stored dry and airtight.
