Natural source of iron, not just for Anthony William smoothies
The edible dulse Atlantic red algae has been a star in the raw food sky, and not just since Anthony William recommended it as an ingredient in his "Heavy Metal Detox Smoothies". Rich in important nutrients, it is a real maritime superfood. Dulse is also a source of protein with a high fibre content. Experience nutritional power with a special flavour. Naturally 100% organic and in raw food quality.
Even the Celts knew about the power of dulse algae
Dulse, also known as lobster kelp, is a reddish-brown, edible member of the red algae family. The wild-growing Atlantic algae (Palmaria palmata) is native to the oxygen-rich Atlantic waters of Western Europe. Even the ancient Celts valued it as a valuable source of iron, magnesium and potassium. In pubs in the west of Ireland, dulse seaweed is still the raw food alternative to greasy potato crisps. The Algamar dulse seaweed grows in underwater gardens on the cleanest stretches of the north Spanish Atlantic coast. There they are carefully harvested by hand, dried at temperatures below 42°C according to raw food standards, crushed and then packaged. Naturally without preservatives and under strict quality controls.
Maritime nutrient package
What is so fascinating about dulse is its content of proteins, minerals and trace elements. US bestselling author Anthony William has also recognised this. He recommends dulse Atlantic algae for his legendary Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie. The effects of the valuable ingredients of dulse algae have been proven: The high iron content contributes to normal energy metabolism, haematopoiesis, a functioning immune system and normal cognitive function. The potassium in dulse algae is essential for the normal functioning of the nervous system and muscles. Magnesium contributes to the regulation of the electrolyte balance and normal muscle function and also plays a role in the normal function of the nervous system.
The flavourful kick for smoothies, soups or pasta
Dulse algae is not only edible, it also tastes really good! Depending on how it is processed, its flavour is subtly reminiscent of seafood or even smoked bacon. It is best to enjoy raw organic dulse every day. As flakes, you can simply mix dulse into your smoothies - for example in the Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie mentioned above. Or you can soak the seaweed briefly in water and add it to salads, soups or pasta creations. One pack of dulse seaweed is very economical: 100 g flakes are equivalent to 1 kg of freshly harvested seaweed.
Note: Dulse seaweed is naturally rich in iodine. Excessive intake can lead to thyroid dysfunction. The German Nutrition Society recommends an average daily intake of no more than 0.2 mg iodine.

Ausgezeichnet
Die Algen von Algamar sind ausgezeichnet gut. Ich mische die Dulse Algen meistens in den Smoothie oder als Topping auf dem Salat. Wir haben schon viele Algen von Algamar probiert und kochen viel und gerne damit.
