The VARIO under-sink filter helps you to save space in your kitchen. It is installed invisibly under the sink. Installation is simple and usually takes just one hour - to be on the safe side, it should be carried out by a professional. You can connect the VARIO under-sink filter to any standard water connection.

Additional tap: With the additional tap variant, a separate tap is installed for the filtered water. This ensures a clear separation between service water and drinking water.
An additional hole is required on the sink or in the worktop for the separate tap.
If a low-pressure boiler or low-pressure instantaneous water heater is available, this variant can be installed upstream of the boiler or instantaneous water heater. instantaneous water heater can be installed.

Direct connection: With the direct connection variant, all the cold water is filtered. The filter system is installed directly in the cold water pipe and the existing tap continues to be used. As only one tap is used at the sink, no additional hole is required. The flow rate of the cold water depends on the flow rate of the filter insert. Therefore, only fast filter inserts with at least 6 litres per minute are recommended, for example the "Puro filter insert" from Carbonit. If a low-pressure boiler or low-pressure instantaneous water heater is available, this variant can be installed upstream of the boiler or instantaneous water heater.

3-waytap: With the 3-way variant, a special 3-way tap is installed (available from specialised sanitary retailers), which has separate pipes inside for service water and drinking water. The filtered water comes out of a separate outlet. Only one tap is used at the sink, so no additional hole is required. This variant cannot be installed in conjunction with a low-pressure boiler or low-pressure instantaneous water heater.

Why water filters?
