Affordable and clean solution for your daily water

Even though our drinking water is supposed to be well tested and safe, the sales of bottled water companies are increasing year on year. If you still drink bottled water or don't trust the water quality, we have an inexpensive and clean solution for you: activated carbon block filters! In addition to the well-known systems from Carbonit, we recommend the Alvito devices because they have impressed us with their improved materials, a wider range of filter inserts and the option of equipping these filters with swirlers.

Spring water quality with activated carbon filter

Activated carbon block filters remove many unwanted substances where it is most important: where water is not used for washing or garden sprinkling, but where it enters our bodies as food. Waterworks cannot come close to achieving the retention values of activated carbon blocks with their capabilities, not to mention the substances that enter the drinking water through transport in pipes. Filtering makes the water taste better overall, fresher and, with the optional use of a water swirler, it tastes as if it has just been bottled from a spring. The drinking water source in the kitchen is the motto.

Invisibly installed, visibly good filter performance

Built-in filters are the elegant way to optimise your own tap water. Exactly where we prepare, cook, clean or simply drink water. Discreetly concealed under the sink, the installation remains practically invisible. 90° connectors and a compact wall bracket enable space-saving installation. With a built-in filter, you have the option of enjoying water from an activated carbon block, even if a boiler (unpressurised hot water tank) or a shower hose is installed at your sink. With this equipment in your kitchen, the activated charcoal countertop filter variant cannot be used.

Installation and use according to your wishes

There are two possible installation options for the under-sink filter: With an optionally available, separate tap or in conjunction with your existing tap. Versatile modular system: Four different filter inserts are available and this built-in filter can be individually combined with a water swirler or viataliser.

A skilled craftsman can install a built-in filter himself in a relatively short time (30 - 60 minutes depending on the circumstances). Quick installation is favoured by the plug-in couplings used. The space-saving 90° bends on the connection hoses reduce the space required under the sink, while the wall bracket supplied rounds off the package. Alternatively, a plumber of your choice can carry out the installation.

Advantages of the activated charcoal filter

Compared to reverse osmosis filter systems, water from Alvito filters retains its natural composition of minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium. However, if these minerals previously shimmered in different colours in your kettle, with filtered water you will notice that the deposited limescale is snow-white. In combination with a vitaliser or swirler, it also has a different structure and kettles, for example, need to be descaled less often and the limescale no longer sticks so firmly to the material. Subjectively, even very chalky, swirled water is perceived as "softer" and "easier to drink".

The right filter for every need

Filter inserts can be freely selected from four variants and, like the water swirler, are not included in the scope of delivery. Our recommendation is the ABF Primus EM cartridge, which we found to have the best flavour. If you have limescale problems or need a higher flow rate of filtered water, you will also find what you are looking for with special filter cartridges. Incidentally, the water swirler is compatible with all filter inserts.
