Imagine you turn on your tap and really clean water flows into your glass. You have clean running water without lead and copper from old pipes, without heavy metals and bacteria.

The practical Carbonit filter system works without electricity and is simply connected to the tap outlet. The Carbonit filters have been specially developed in Germany for the properties of European drinking water and do not filter out the minerals dissolved in the water.

Simple installation

It can be connected to all standard taps and water taps. Exception: if a non-pressurised boiler (low-pressure boiler) or non-pressurised instantaneous water heater is installed under the sink and if the tap has a hose spray. To install it, simply unscrew the strainer outlet from the tap and screw on a special diverter valve. If the lever of this valve is horizontal, the water is forced to pass through the filter. If it is vertical, the water can be tapped as usual without filtering. If a tap has an unusual thread, suitable adapters are available as accessories.

The Carbonit countertop filter is supplied complete with diverter valve, hose and an adapter for standard taps with an M24 female thread.

Block filter compared to can filters

In contrast to many commercially available can filters, the activated carbon is not loose, but sintered into a block. Filtered out pollutants remain in the filter. If the filter capacity is exhausted, the pollutants do not break through - as is the case with a can filter. Renowned test institutes have repeatedly shown that various can filters are easily contaminated. The Carbonit block filter has been proven not to contaminate.

The freshness of natural spring water

Do I need special tools or knowledge to install the Carbonit water filter?

The Carbonit water filter is particularly easy for anyone to install and does not require any special connections or electrical power. Place the Carbonit water filter on your kitchen worktop, right next to the mixer tap on your sink. You do not need any tools. First unscrew the housing and insert the charcoal filter without the foil. Now close the housing tightly again. Unscrew the outlet on your tap and unscrew the outlet on the Carbonit. That's all there is to it. Now you can let the water run - initially until it runs clear. Then the Carbonit is ready to provide you with clean water at all times.

Exactly what substances does the Carbonit filter out of my water?

The Carbonit filters organic compounds, carbon compounds and perfluorinated surfactants (PFT) from the tap water. Various heavy metals are also removed by the Carobonite. These include lead, copper and iron. In addition, the Carbonit water filter filters chlorine and chlorine compounds, polar pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, organic pesticides, hormones and drug residues.

What is special about the Carbonit Sanuno filter?

The filter of the Carbonit Sanuno consists of an activated carbon block filter. Unlike loose activated carbon filters, the solid carbon in the Carbonit water filter filters various substances out of the water and retains them in the carbon. This means that when the activated carbon is saturated, it retains these substances and does not release them back into the water in increased concentrations, as is the case with other filters. In addition, the activated carbon does not change the pH value of the filtered water, as can filters do, for example. The filter of the Carbonit Sanuno always remains clean and has been proven not to harbour germs.

How often does the SanUno filter need to be changed?

Regardless of whether you use a Premium filter with 2-3 litres of water flow per minute or a Puro filter with 6-8 litres of water per minute - both filters need to be changed regularly every 6 months.

What is the difference between a Premium and a Puro filter for the Carbonit water filter?

While the Premium filter lets around 2-3 litres of water through per minute, the Puro filter can handle 6-8 litres. This means that your water runs faster with the Puro water filter. The Premium filter is certainly sufficient for smaller households, but the Puro filter is recommended for families with several members, where a lot of purified water is often required.
