The E520 has three integrated programmes for smoothies, ice cream creations and hot soups. Yes, you read that right - the Vitamix can not only blend soups, but also heat them up! The soup programme runs for several minutes and uses the blade friction to heat the ingredients in the blender jug. This preserves more nutrients than traditional cooking. The programme is time-controlled, but not temperature-controlled. If it gets hotter than desired, the process can be stopped at any time.

On the front of the sturdy motor block is the central dial, which can be used to precisely control the consistency in manual mode. Alternatively, you can select one of the three automatic programmes for smoothies, ice cream creations or soups by turning to the left.

The ten speed settings are located on the right-hand side and can be continuously adjusted - ideal for precise preparations that require a delicate touch. This makes the E520 perfect for both beginners and professionals.
