Naturally ripened under the Togolese sun
Our smooth cayenne pineapple rings grow in Togo under the loving care of over 300 smallholder families. For over 20 years, our local partner has been committed to respectful and organic cultivation - with passion, experience and a deep understanding of nature.
The fruit is harvested when fully ripe, gently dried to raw food quality at temperatures below 45 °C and thus retains its natural flavours and vitamins. No additives, no sulphur - simply pure fruit.

Unlike our popular Keimling pineapple pieces, these rings come from a different pineapple variety and from a different region. The "Smooth Cayenne" variety is juicy, intensely sweet and only slightly sour.

Ananas Ringe - Leider enttäuschend.
Ich habe mich sehr auf die zweite Lieferung gefreut, weil die erste Packung wirklich fantastisch war – saftig, süß und voller Geschmack. Umso größer war die Enttäuschung diesmal: Die Ananasringe waren bitter und geschmacklich wirklich schlecht. Das passt leider überhaupt nicht zu meiner ersten Erfahrung.
Ananas-Ringe
Leider sind die Ringe nicht lecker! Wenn ich die Bewertung meiner Vorgängerin lese, kommt mir der Gedanke an ein anderes Produkt. Die Ringe sind hart und haben wenig Aroma. Mit den Ananas First Stücken haben diese nicht gemeinsam.

Diese sind saftig, fruchtig, einfach gut
Riecht wie Brot, schmeckt nach nichts
Ich liebe die geschnittene Version - die sind fruchtig, saftig, frisch und umwerfend, absurderweise sind die Ringe aber das Gegenteil davon. Leider habe ich viel auf Vorrat bestellt und ging davon aus, dass beide Ananas-Versionen ident schmecken werden - denn ob ein Ring geschnitten ist oder ein Ring ist, wird ja wohl keinen Unterschied machen. Aber leider: Die Ringe riechen wir trockenes, altes Brot und sind zum Snacken für meine Begriffe ungenießbar. Ich gebe sie in die Smoothies dazu und versuche mit Zitrone und frischer Birne oder Ananas den Eigengeschmack dieses Fehlkaufs zu übertünchen. Superschade.
Süß und saftig
Diese Ananasringe sind wirklich ein Traum! Sie sind wunderbar süß und saftig und sind somit eine gesunde, leckere Nascherei für die ganze Familie!
