Product information "Millivital membrane cap for 700 ml fermentation jar"
Micro fermentation jar attachment, for screw-top jars Ø 82 mm
Fermenting made easy: natural, airtight, reusable - for vegetables with culture!
Whether sauerkraut, kimchi or carrot sticks - the micro fermentation jar top makes fermentation child's play. The clever system fits all jars with an 82 mm opening (e.g. classic screw-top jars from the supermarket) and transforms them into fermentation jars in an instant.
The production: sustainable, well thought-out, deliberately plastic-free. Instead of plastic seals, a natural surge chamber is used here, which allows rising fermentation gases to escape but does not let any air in. This creates the perfect conditions for lactic acid fermentation - without any additives or technology.
Ideal for anyone who wants to preserve fresh food while focussing on naturalness and zero waste. Simply add vegetables, spices and salt to the jar, seal - and wait. The glass top does the rest.
Application ideas
- Homemade sauerkraut: finely slice white cabbage, rub with salt, add to the jar - done.
- Kimchi variations: With Chinese cabbage, ginger, chilli and garlic to create a fermented delight.
- Colourful carrot sticks: With mustard seeds, garlic and turmeric for a spicy note.
- Fermented cauliflower: Slightly spicy with chilli and bay leaf - perfect as an antipasti.
-
Beetroot ferment: Earthy flavour meets mild acidity - great in salads or on bread.
tip: Use empty screw-top jars from your stash - this way you are not only fermenting sustainably, but also without any additional packaging waste.
