Maunawai® PI®PRIME K2G spring table filter - the purest pleasure, sip for sip

Fresh, original spring water has many beneficial properties that our modern tap water lacks. As part of a health-conscious lifestyle, "Medical Medium" Anthony William recommends gravity water filters to purify and revitalise ordinary drinking water. However, we are not following Anthony William's device recommendation here and have selected the best gravity filter system suitable for European water conditions: Maunawai® PI®PRIME Quelle table filters have been produced near Berlin for many years and have convinced us with their simple operation and excellent results and flavour. The filter cartridges for the Maunawai systems are also produced in Europe and are manufactured according to precise specifications and material selection in a Maunawai partner manufactory in Hungary. Filters, mineralises and restructures normal tap water

The Maunawai® source filters according to the five principles of filtration, information, optimisation, harmonisation and biological availability. It removes chlorine, heavy metals, uranium, pesticides, nitrates, hormones and drug residues from ordinary water in just a few minutes. In addition, the K2 system releases more minerals from valuable ceramics and zeolite rock into the water than the K8. This means that even people with tap water that is low in minerals or a decalcification system in the house can enjoy water with naturally dissolved minerals. Together with the original cluster structure that the Maunawai water regains during the filter passage, this water can be optimally absorbed by the human organism - a crystal-clear pleasure for body and senses. The manufacturer Maunawai has been a pioneer in electroless water filtration systems for many years and manufactures in Germany, with most of the materials coming from Germany, Hungary and the Czech Republic.

Sophisticated multi-stage filter system

At the heart of the Maunawai® Quelle filter is the multi-stage filter system: Firstly, a ceramic filter retains impurities, particles and suspended matter.

The ceramic filter is NSF* certified. The flat shape of this ceramic pre-filter for the fountain optimises both the water pressure and the better utilisation of the surface area, thereby increasing the filter quality.
A special firing technique increases the number of pores and reduces their diameter. This provides effective protection against bacteria, dust, rust, colour, oils, microplastics and other suspended particles.
With a ceramic filter pore thickness of 0.18 µm (0.00018 mm), the tap water runs "drop by drop" through the downstream, multi-stage filter cartridge of the Maunawai source. The 6 other filter segments require a certain throughput time to achieve the excellent filter result, all based on the natural principle of gravity.

An activated carbon filter made of coconut shells then removes chlorine, pesticides and many other impurities. This makes Maunawai® filters very effective, especially when it comes to substances that are difficult to bind, such as https://www.keimling.de/lexiko..., drug and hormone residues. At the end of the filtering and percolation process, the result is highly digestible water, just like from a mountain spring. You determine the extent to which your water is enriched with minerals by adding the supplied zeolite rock, which is placed in the glass drinking water tank.

The filter tank of the Maunawai® Quelle filter holds up to 4 litres, the drinking water container made of hand-blown glass can hold up to 8 litres. The plastic parts are made of plasticiser- and BPA-free SAN plastic, which is also used in medical technology. This makes Maunawai® Quelle the perfect vitality dispenser in the kitchen and office or for guests and customers.

Suitable for your water quality

The filters from Maunawai® Quelle are matched to the prevailing tap water hardness in our region. The K8 version is designed for medium-hard, hard and very hard water (from 8°dH). The K2 shown here is designed for soft to medium-hard water (up to 7.5°dH), or simply for people who love mineral-rich water. The K2 is also suitable for use with a decalcification system that works via ion exchange. Each time you change the cartridge, you can always choose a new variant. If you move to an area with a different hardness level, you can easily adapt your source. You can also find suitable year-round filter replacement packages in our shop. Depending on the water quality, a filter cartridge lasts between 10 - 12 months and filters 3800 - 4000 litres during this time.

Activated natural zeolite stones for more minerals and flavour

Would you like a little more minerals? The zeolite stones supplied have a slightly alkalising effect on your drinking water and can simply be placed in the water collection container. The fine mineral release enriches your existing, mineral-poor water and enhances its flavour. This mineral release is significantly higher at the beginning than at the end of the service life. It is therefore advisable to use only 2-4 stones at the beginning. You can gradually add more stones to achieve the desired flavour. A bag of zeolite stone is therefore supplied with every K2 spring and is also included in the K2 refresh pack, which you can use to completely renew your spring after a year of use. The selected zeolite stones have a clinoptilolite content of over 90 %, are a pure natural product free from additives and are gently processed.
