BLUEGREEN AFA Basic Algae: Blue-green power from Klamath Lake
The blue-green AFA algae from Klamath Lake in Oregon (USA) are popular as a natural food supplement or vitalising ingredient for smoothies, mueslis and more. The BLUEGREEN AFA Basic algae not only come in raw food quality as usual , but also with organic certification.
Gently harvested and dried on site
Klamath Lake is located in a volcanic nature reserve at an altitude of almost 1300 metres in south-west Oregon. The soil and water there are particularly rich in minerals, providing ideal growing conditions for the sensitive AFA algae. The aquatic plant, which cannot be cultivated, only thrives here in large quantities and suitable quality. During the flowering period, the AFA algae are harvested from the surface of the water using special suction cups, stored deep-frozen and air-dried at a maximum temperature of 40 °C for two to three minutes before being processed into pellets without any additives or preservatives. This process in accordance with raw food standards optimally protects the valuable nutrients it contains so that you can enjoy it every day without any worries.
Recommended intake:
Take 8 pellets per day with a little liquid throughout the day. Alternatively, the pellets can be easily pulverised and integrated into your daily diet. For example in smoothies, soups, bowls or tasty snacks.
