The liver fulfils a variety of important tasks. We store many emotions in it over the course of our lives. The liver is therefore like a kind of hard drive in which we store special moments, experiences and feelings.
It also contains many toxins that we absorb through food, air and external circumstances. Stress also plays a major role in this.

But how do I even realise that my liver could use some support?
There are many symptoms that indicate that your liver is no longer at its full strength. Everyone is born with a liver that is already contaminated; some with more toxins, others with less. Depending on how much we are burdened with toxins, we have a different risk of developing diseases and challenges later in life. So the higher the toxins at birth, the higher the chance of experiencing health problems.
We carry many toxins within us by passing them on via DNA from our parents and ancestors. This shows how important it is to detoxify our liver regularly and provide it with positive support.
The skin is one of the largest detoxification organs and so blemished skin can also indicate that the liver is sluggish or tired and can no longer keep up with the natural cleansing process.
General fatigue and tiredness are also common signs, as well as a bloated stomach or weight gain are strong indications that the liver is under heavy strain and sluggish. Our body wants to tell us something through these symptoms, as Anthony William also writes in his books. The body is always on our side. It is not fighting against us, even if it sometimes seems to be; when we are in a cycle of pain and despair. The body always wants to support us, but it needs our conscious decision and appropriate implementation.
One of the most helpful ways to positively support our liver is Anthony Williams' approach to liver cleansing. We would like to introduce you to this liver cleanse.
The liver cleanse according to Anthony William consists of 3 phases:
The first phase is about preparing the body for the process and the cleanse so that detoxification is more pleasant. A good start to the day is the morning routine according to Medical Medium:
We start with the lemon water and then have the celery stalk after a break of at least 20 minutes. If possible, the morning should be fat-free and fat should only be consumed in the evening. It is advisable to reduce fat consumption by 50% overall.
Anthony William recommends drinking plenty of hibiscus and lemon balm tea during the cure. This helps to flush toxins out of the liver. In between, always include adrenal snacks in your daily routine, as well as apples and dates.
In the second phase, you should completely avoid fats, i.e. no oils, nuts, seeds or avocados, as fat would otherwise stop detoxification.
Your liver's best friend over the next few days will be the liver rescue smoothie.
There are 2 ways to prepare it. In the simplified version, we have wild blueberries (already known from the heavy metal detox smoothie), bananas and pitaya, also known as dragon fruit, as a powder or fresh.
In the 2nd version, some celery, lime and sprouts can be added. This smoothie not only tastes very lively and refreshing, but also helps the liver to gently eliminate toxins from the body.
Ingredients for the liver detox smoothie:
- 2 bananas
- 2 tsp Keimling dragon fruit powder
- 2 tsp LOOV wild blueberry powder
- ½ lime (optional)
- 60 ml water (optional)
The day starts again with the morning routine, which consists of lemon water and celery juice. Salad or steamed vegetables can then be eaten throughout the day, everything should be prepared fat-free and snacks such as apples or dates can also be included in between meals, as you should not go hungry during the cure. The aim of this cleanse is to relieve the liver as much as possible so that it can concentrate fully on its most important task, namely reducing toxins in the body.
You can also use recipes from "Heal Your Thyroid" by Anthony William. It is advisable to consume more fresh cucumber juice and celery juice during the days of the cleanse, as these are particularly effective in eliminating toxins.
Now we come to day 9 and thus the last day (phase 3) of the cure. Only freshly squeezed juices are consumed here. On this day, you should take plenty of time for yourself and ideally not make any appointments on this day so that your body can recover.
Saturday is a very good day to start the 3 6 9, as the last 3 days can be a bit challenging and therefore fall on the weekend, where you can take a step back.
Internal hygiene is unfortunately neglected far too much in today's society, yet it is so important for our well-being and mental health.
P.S.: A very interesting side fact is that the 3:6:9 liver cleanse according to Anthony William contains the numbers 3,6 & 9. One of the most famous geniuses of our modern times, Nikola Tesla, said that these numbers were "sacred". The word "holy" also indirectly contains the word "heal" and therefore "healing". If that's not a positive coincidence, since liver cleansing according to Anthony William is all about healing. Another statement that Tesla made in this context is: "With these numbers we have the key to the universe."
