The WM-2206 is also the quietest of the 3 Wartmann dehydrators. The low-noise fan distributes the warm air horizontally across all 6 stainless steel shelves, ensuring even and effective drying on a drying surface of 0.59 m².

The desired temperature and drying time can be easily set using the touch control panel on the front of the appliance. For example, this appliance can also be placed on a half-height cabinet and the control panel remains accessible. The drying temperature of 25 to 90 degrees Celsius and the drying time of 30 minutes to 72 hours can be set very easily and you always have your fruit, vegetables and other creative delicacies to be dried in view thanks to the real glass door and the switchable LED interior lighting. You have over half a square metre of space available for each dehydrating cycle. So you can dry away quite a few kilos!

Thanks to the double-walled design and the associated insulation, the power consumption of 4.1 kWh in 24 hours, when all 6 drawers are filled with apple rings, for example, is an outstandingly low value. In comparison, dehydrating in a conventional oven is much more energy and time consuming!

The shelves measure 30 x 28 cm and can be fully utilised thanks to the ingenious holder in the appliance. The spacing between the grids is 3 cm! This means you can dry whole mushrooms, plums or bananas without having to remove any shelves. The WM-2206 DH is also well thought out and very convenient.

The Wartmann WM-2206 DH has a low-noise fan that blows an even flow of air over the 6 stainless steel shelves. This enables your favourite foods to be dried on all shelves at the same time.

Easy to operate from the front

The temperature and drying time are set via a control panel at the front. This allows you to include elevated positioning of the appliance or stacking several appliances in your kitchen planning. By the way: The drying temperature can be set from 25 to 90 degrees Celsius in 1-degree increments. Not everyone can do that.

The built-in timer can also be finely adjusted from 30 minutes to 72 hours. Settings can be made on the control panel without any buttons or switches and this surface can be cleaned quickly and easily with a damp cloth.

Everything has been thought of

A stainless steel crumb tray catches the products that fall to the bottom of the dehydrator and can also be easily removed for cleaning. The stainless steel door is fitted with a shatterproof glass viewing window so that you can easily see the progress of the drying process. The switchable LED lamp inside also provides an even clearer view. The shelves and crumb tray can even be put in the dishwasher.

All Wartmann dehydrators have overheating protection. This means that the dehydrator switches off automatically if the temperature rises above 100 degrees Celsius.

Matching silicone and PTFE dehydrating films are available as important accessories. This makes it even easier to dehydrate dripping food, as the juices dripping from tomatoes or mangoes, for example, can no longer get stuck in the grid structure of the shelves. The use of film also makes sense when making fruit leather, crackers and herbs, as this makes it much easier to remove the dried food from the trays and prevents it from sticking or falling through. After an initial drying period, the film can then be removed to speed up the drying process.
