In Turkey, Iran and Greece, pita bread is a side dish for many meals. They are always freshly baked and are slightly thicker than normal flatbreads. We now offer you a raw food variant that will enrich your snack in a delicious way! Aromatic herbs and sun-dried tomatoes make this pita a feast for the senses

All the ingredients for our vitality packs in the form of delicious slices of bread are cultivated in purely organic, mostly small-scale farming. Gentle harvesting, processing and drying at less than 45 °C guarantees real raw food quality and a wide range of vitality and nutrients. Golden linseeds are germinated in the purest spring water to activate their enzyme life. In addition to seeds, this dough is mixed with dried tomatoes, Provençal herbs, garlic, basil and fine sea salt, spread on drying trays and then dried at below 42° C. I know pita bread from my holidays in Greece. The raw food pita crackers taste great. How do you achieve this match between ingredients and flavour?

We use ingredients from organic farming. Organic farming ensures high quality ingredients for our products. Naturally grown plants taste fuller and their flavours are more balanced. We do not use yeast in our (raw) delicious pita crackers. The full flavour is achieved from the pure ingredients alone. The high quality of our products guarantees our customers nutritious food that tastes and smells natural.

Do you use ingredients from conventional cultivation?

Our ingredients come from organic farming. From sowing to harvesting, they are grown almost exclusively on small farms. Pesticide treatment, fungicides and herbicides are not permitted in purely organic farming. It is not without reason that our products taste so good. Naturally grown vegetables, seeds, nuts and herbs are treated with care and further processed even after harvesting. This ensures the high quality of our products.

What is meant by the "Herbs of Provence" spice mix?

The term "Herbs de Provence" is a commercial term. Thyme, rosemary, oregano, marjoram, savoury, but also basil, fennel, sage and tarragon and other culinary herbs can be included. The herbs grow wild in the south of France, but they can also be found growing wild here. The legal regulation is: 26 per cent oregano, 26 per cent rosemary, 26 per cent savoury, 19 per cent thyme, 3 per cent basil. Deviations are permitted. Savory adds pepper to dishes, oregano tastes slightly bitter and aromatic, rosemary savoury and unique, thyme warm and spicy, basil royally special.
