Raw mulberries
Mulberry trees originally come from China, where they were grown for breeding silkworms. The trees grow up to 15 metres tall and soon found new areas of cultivation, such as Turkey and Greece. The fruits are similar in appearance to blackberries and are just as juicy when raw. Red mulberries, for example, are particularly colourful. For this reason, the ancient Greeks used these fruits to colour wine.

A sweet dream: our mulberries in raw food quality
Mulberries ripen on the tree over several weeks, which is why some of them can already dry naturally in the sun. Once all the berries have ripened, our mulberries are dried in the sun on clay roofs and sorted by hand. This ensures their raw food quality and a gentle harvest. Our mulberries have a soft consistency and are particularly tasty with a wonderful caramel flavour. They are ideal in any muesli or dried fruit mix, making them a tasty and healthy snack between meals.
