Immune shots: Small drinks with a big effect
For daily support of the immune system with important vitamins and trace elements.
An intact immune system is the key to good health. Drinking a few millilitres of ginger and lemon juice every day strengthens the body's defences and provides better protection against pathogens. In combination with other types of fruit and vegetables, the small immune drinks become even richer and more effective.
Our immune system is a true miracle: every day it protects us from bacteria, viruses and fungi as well as other harmful substances that are invisibly present in the environment, making it the body's most important and best defence strategy. Only if we protect our immune system can it also protect us - immune shots are a supportive measure for every day.
Immune shots - everything you need for a strong defence
There are many ways to strengthen the immune system. In addition to fresh air and sufficient exercise, a healthy diet is one of the most effective measures. The body cannot produce many of the nutrients it needs to successfully fight off pathogens, which is why we have to get them from our food. Vitamins A, B, C, D and E as well as the trace elements zinc, copper, iron and selenium are important for a strong immune system. Plant sources of these nutrients include spinach leaves, kale, citrus fruits such as oranges and lemons, sea buckthorn, rosehips, ginger and turmeric. These foods are ideal for making beneficial immune shots. Cleverly combined, the small drinks contain numerous vitamins and trace elements and are therefore a real boost for our immune system.
Freshly prepared shots are the healthiest choice
Just one immune shot a day provides the body with a high proportion of immune-boosting nutrients. It is best to prepare the shots yourself and drink 20 millilitres of them every morning. The small power drinks are also available in many supermarkets and drugstores. However, these are usually heated for a long shelf life and therefore contain significantly fewer vitamins. Making the shots is very easy and with a few tricks, they can be preserved naturally for longer.
Tip 1: Freshly made immune shots can generally be kept in the fridge for four to five days. Frozen in ice cube moulds, they will even keep for several weeks.
Tip 2: The peel of a lemon also ensures a longer shelf life thanks to the essential oils it contains. If you add these to the immune shots, you should ensure that the fruit is of the highest organic quality. Add a little water before eating to reduce the acidity.
