Cold brew machines are often only associated with 'cold brew coffee', but you can do so much more with them. In this article, I share my experience with what I think is the best machine on the market and give you an insight into delicious recipes and possible uses.

What is a cold brew?

Cold brew means "cold extract". The term is often used with cold brew coffee. This is a type of coffee that is made by steeping ground coffee in cold water.

In contrast to conventional coffee, which is brewed with hot water, cold brew coffee is steeped in the refrigerator for a period of 12 to 24 hours. My experience with the Shine Cold Brew machine from Tribest

As a big fan of iced tea, I have only ever known the option of preparing the tea as normal, then leaving it to cool and sweetening it with a sugar substitute such as erythritol or stevia. But I've never found the perfect flavour. It's also annoying when you have to wait hours for the tea to cool down before you can drink it.

Then, as if out of nowhere, the Keimling the Tribest cold brew machine came flying into the house. It is easy to use, can be cleaned in a minute and produces delicious cold brews. With the extra large sieve compartment, I can also add dried or fresh fruit to the tea to give it that typical iced tea flavour. 1 litre of iced tea can be made in under an hour and almost fully automatically. The different "setting options" can also be used to adjust the intensity of the tea or other cold drinks.

How to use and care for the machine

The Tribest Shine machine is not only easy to use, but also easy to maintain. After each use, you should clean the machine thoroughly to ensure that no residue remains inside.
