Natural coconut pleasure: Gently dried coconut strips
After harvesting, the fresh coconuts are opened, the flesh is removed and cut into strips by hand. It is then washed and gently and evenly dried in a drying oven at under 45 °C.
As the coconut oil is not removed, you can enjoy the full coconut flavour including all the nutrients. Thanks to the gentle drying process, our coconut strips have a particularly fine and fresh flavour. They are also cut slightly thicker and processed with the skin - this ensures an intense, juicy coconut flavour and cannot be compared with conventional, partially roasted coconut chips. Sustainable processing of the coconut
Our production partner continuously endeavours to make its processes environmentally friendly and resource-saving. During the day, for example, 100% of the energy used for drying comes from our own photovoltaic system. The necessary heat is generated with the help of a hot water system. If the solar energy is not sufficient, the coconut shells are used as fuel for the oven to heat the water. With this product, you can not only enjoy the full flavour, but also buy it with a clear conscience.
