Basics of the Anthony William teachings
Anthony William provides answers to the question of how we can counter the chronic diseases of our time in a natural way with living, fresh food (raw food).
The health problems involved are many and varied, including autoimmune diseases, migraines, gastrointestinal problems, chronic pain, visual disturbances, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), deafness and palpitations, to name but a few. Who is Anthony William?
Anthony William is known in the USA and now throughout Europe as a "medical medium".
How did he get this name? According to his own account, at the age of 4 he heard a voice telling him that his grandmother had lung cancer. His grandmother had no symptoms at the time. A few weeks later, his diagnosis was confirmed and fortunately she was cured. Since that day, this voice, which he calls "Spirit", has accompanied him. It informs him about the state of health of his fellow human beings, says William.
Anthony William has been collecting information on health problems for many decades and has now treated thousands of people. He has self-acquired knowledge about medicine, health and nutrition. This knowledge can be found in 8 books, his website, countless videos, radio programmes, blogs and podcasts, as well as in countless healing reports. On YouTube alone, William already has 274,000 subscribers who follow his "crazy" health videos.
Basic theories of Anthony William
According to Anthony William, chronic diseases are on the rise. Responsible for this are "The Merciless Four", which include Radiation (e.g. mobile phone and X-ray radiation), harmful metals, viruses and DDT (an insecticide used in agriculture and forestry). Each of these causes is bad for health. According to Anthony William's observations, particularly serious illnesses usually involve a combination of the four aspects, which reinforce each other. William is convinced that genes are much less responsible for our illnesses than is generally assumed. He is of the opinion that the points just mentioned are the main causes. However, we can draw a positive conclusion from this, because if it is not genetics, then we have an influence on our own health and are not defencelessly at the mercy of certain circumstances. With the tool of detoxification, we can take our health into our own hands. Detoxification is therefore the most important pillar of Anthony William's health teachings. And what is better suited to detoxification than living food? William presents this elementary yet effective method in his book "Medical Food - Why fruit and vegetables are more potent as remedies than any medicine".t".
But how exactly is it supposed to work?
To combat the "merciless four", William relies on "the holy four", which include: Fruit, vegetables, herbs/spices/wild plants & honey.
The merciless four according to William
Radiation: Direct radiation to which humans are exposed, but also indirect radiation to which our food is exposed. Radiation is one of the greatest health risks of our time.
Metals: lead and mercury are certainly familiar to everyone as harmful substances. According to Anthony William, heavy metals are largely responsible for diseases such as ADHD, autism, cancer, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease. We do not necessarily have to have been exposed to these toxins ourselves; according to Anthony William, it is also possible to inherit these substances from our ancestors. They damage our health by weakening our immune system and thus providing a breeding ground for viruses and bacteria. They have really devastating consequences in the human brain, where they can form connections and damage tissue.
Virus explosion: Anthony William also laments a real explosion of viruses, such as the Eppstein-Barr virus. These viruses often lurk undetected in our bodies, but can have far-reaching consequences for our health and, according to him, are also responsible for certain types of cancer.
DDT: One might assume that the pesticide DDT, which was banned in West Germany in 1972 and in East Germany in 1988, can no longer play a significant role as a health hazard. But on the one hand, it is still present in the environment and therefore also in our food due to its massive use and, on the other hand, we may have inherited it from our ancestors.
Of course, the factors mentioned under the "merciless four" are not the only causes of a weakening of our state of health. Stress and the associated release of adrenalin also play an important role. Anthony William is convinced that adrenaline is an endogenous poison and that we are exposed to chronically excessive adrenaline levels, especially in the digital age with the constant barrage of negative news and 24/7 availability.
What can we do now, according to William, to support our health and avoid chronic illness?
Anthony William provides us with very precise instructions in his books, his radio programmes and his website. This is where the "Holy Four", or as Anthony William calls them, the "true FOODs" come into play. These are essential for sustainable mental and physical health.
To be fully effective, the foods "fruit, vegetables, herbs/spices/wild plants & honey" must not only be eaten regularly, but also in large quantities. These foods are rich in valuable and vital nutrients such as trace elements, minerals, enzymes and vitamins. As every food has a specific composition of these health-promoting and healing substances, it is advisable to eat as wide and varied a spectrum as possible. William does not stipulate that you have to eat 100% raw food, but he does recommend eating as much raw food as possible; a small proportion of steamed vegetables, for example, is not a problem.
However, Anthony William attaches great importance to consuming as little fat as possible. It is not only in the general diet that people tend to eat too much fat, but also in the so-called "gourmet raw food", for example in a "cashew cheese" or a wild garlic pesto, where significant amounts of fat can be found. Care must also be taken to ensure an adequate supply of fluids.
The well-known routines according to Anthony William are regularly practised by millions of people worldwide and are certainly familiar to anyone who has studied Anthony William. The three most popular routines are the morning lemon water, celery juice and the "Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie".
Lemon water: After getting up, drink ½ litre of water with the juice of half a lemon. Lemon water supports detoxification, contains vitamin C and allows you to start the day sufficiently hydrated. However, care should be taken to use pure and contaminant-free water. Anthony William recommends Water filters that are based on gravityand remove any contaminants by gravity alone without the use of pressure or electricity. This water treatment method transforms tap water into fresh and pure spring water.
Freshly squeezed celery juice: 30 minutes after drinking the lemon water, celery juice is on the menu. Celery juice can be described as the centrepiece of Anthony William's teachings. Most people probably became aware of him and his work through celery juice.
The green juice, which Anthony William described as medicine, is pressed from celery stalks. This is best juiced using a slow juicer. In collaboration with one of the largest juicer manufacturers in the USA, Anthony William has developed the Omega MM900and Omega MM1500developed. These juicers are particularly suitable for juicing celery juice and enable up to 12% higher juice yields than comparable other devices.
According to Anthony William, celery juice is a potent medicine which, when used regularly, supports our liver in detoxification, reduces inflammation, helps with weight loss and digestive problems, but also has positive effects on skin diseases such as psoriasis or acne. Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie": As the name suggests, the focus of this smoothie is on the elimination of heavy metals. Anthony William has specially selected foods that are known for their detoxifying effect on heavy metals. The list of ingredients will be very familiar to anyone who has had to deal with the removal of amalgam (a dental filling containing mercury) as part of a dental restoration, for example, in order to eliminate heavy metals. The ingredients of the "Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie" are:
- 2 bananas
- 2 cups of wild blueberries or, if no frozen or fresh produce is available, alternatively Vimergy Wild blueberry powder
- 1 handful of coriander (small bunch)
- 1 glass of freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 teaspoon of Vimergy Barley grass juice powder
- 1 teaspoon of Vimergy spirulina
- 1 small handful of Atlantic dulse seaweed or Vimergy dulse extract
- Filtered water depending on the desired consistency of the smoothie
The ingredients should be blended in a high speed blender, e.g. the Vitamix are pureed into a fine porridge with the smoothie programme.
