Ah, Christmas - the time of love, family and festive delights. But as the aroma from the kitchen
swirls through the air, you might wonder:
Do we really have to fall into the same dietary trap every year?
Isn't it time to spice up tradition with a big pinch of health? Welcome to our raw vegan Christmas,
a culinary adventure between tradition and innovation.
In our family, we have decided to try a festive balancing act. Everyone brings their favourite dishes, and so
you'll find a colourful mix of traditional and raw vegan dishes on our table. Instead of just the obligatory traditional food
, we encounter exotic fruits, homemade raw food specialities and products from special natural food mail order companies.
After all, why shouldn't Christmas treats also contain a touch of the exotic and something special?
However, the crowning glory of our raw vegan Christmas is the Christmas decorations. Instead of boring plastic baubles , fresh
decorate the tree. Tangerines, for example, simply pierce a toothpick, tie a festive ribbon around them and voilà - a juicy Christmas bauble
is born. This crafting approach is not only healthy, but also THE hit with the kids. Who would have thought that making
Christmas decorations could be so appetising?
But it's not just about mandarins. Our Christmas tree is also decorated with raw food confectionery, lovingly wrapped in wrapping paper
and adorned with golden ribbons. Small apples on sticks with ribbons dangle next to glitteringly wrapped dates and tantalising
dried fruit. The colourful variety is not only a feast for the eyes, but also for the palate.
For those who like to share their fresh Christmas treats with others, I have a few of our favourite raw vegan recipes available as free e-books at
. From savoury delicacies to sweet temptations, everything is included. Because why shouldn't festive dishes be both
healthy and delicious?
So, let's build a bridge together - between old and new, between familiar and healthy magic. Merry Christmas
and enjoy the flavours!
