1.4 Vitamix Blender jug for Ascent with dry cutting unit
When the Ascent series was launched, there was often a lack of container variety. Although the Ascent was launched on the market with the ingenious cups and bowls concept and separate blender jug, otherwise only the 2 litre container included as standard was available. This meant that users reached their limits when grinding small and large quantities of grains, seeds and nuts with the universal blade of the previously available Ascent containers. In addition, the appearance of the containers changes very quickly during grinding because the hard ingredients compact the surface of the container walls. A uniform degree of grinding is also not necessarily guaranteed with the universal blade.
Now there are finally the larger containers with Self-Detect technology, which really leave nothing to be desired and are in no way inferior to the container variety of previous Vitamix appliance generations. Self-Detect means that the containers can only be put into operation when they are correctly positioned on the motor block and the lid is properly closed.
The clear speciality of this container is the grinding of dry ingredients and food of all kinds. Liquid drinks can also be produced, but for this we clearly recommend the container with the wet cutting unit. The built-in knives have their selected area of application. Although wet and dry containers can be used for other recipes, the results will be less favourable.
This Vitamix 1.4 litre container is equipped with a specially shaped blade that is able to crush even the smallest amounts (from 1 teaspoon) of grain, seeds, nuts, coffee and pulses.
