Innovation thanks to SELF-DETECT technology
The Vitamix Ascent A2500i ASCENT Series high-performance blender is combined with a series of so-called SELF-DETECT containers, which are automatically recognised by the appliance when it is placed on top. Once recognised, the appliance automatically reprograms itself. The advantage of this is that only the appropriate programmes can be selected for the respective containers fitted. For example, the programme for hot soups only runs if a container with a lid opening (e.g. 2-litre container) is placed on the motor block so that hot air can escape when the food is heated.
The SELF-DETECT technology also offers additional safety when blending: The machine cannot be switched on if the container is not carefully placed on the motor base or the lid is not properly closed. A magnetic locking system has also been integrated into the lid of the 2-litre container for this purpose.
Vitamix ASCENT A2500i - Prepare, store or take away flexibly
The newly designed dishwasher-safe 2-litre container also has a transparent lid so that you can always keep an eye on the blending process and the consistency of your ingredients. While blending, you can easily add more ingredients by opening the cap in the lid without interrupting the blending process. This opening can be used to move hard ingredients or large quantities towards the stainless steel blades using the tamper provided to achieve particularly fine and creamy results. This 2-litre container is included as standard.
