Raw twig dates Deglet Nour Supreme
Date palms have been known since the Mesopotamian era. In the archaeological site of Masada Fortress in Israel, date pits dating back 2000 years have even been unearthed. Researchers managed to germinate one of these date pits a few years ago. Date palms thrive in very hot desert regions and produce precious fruit - dates- after 5-6 years. Because the palms only produce fruit every 2 years and stop doing so after 100 years, date cultivation must be carefully planned.
Dates are an enormous source of energy
Dates are a welcome source of energy and can be kept for a long time as dried fruit due to their high carbohydrate content of 60-70%. For centuries, for example, this has made them a tried and tested food source for desert nomads, who were often able to survive thanks to just one date a day. They contain more fibre than wholemeal bread, more potassium than bananas and gently aid digestion.

Full-bodied in flavour, soft and with a hint of marzipan aroma - that describes our Deglet Nour Supreme dates. They are organically grown in Tunisia without the addition of chemicals, carefully harvested and gently dried under raw food conditions. Neither glucose nor other preservatives are used in any of our dates. This gives you the wonderful, pure date flavour in the best natural quality. The date is an excellent snack for between meals and when travelling, but also a wonderful ingredient for many delicious raw food dishes. Deglet Nour Supreme dates are often used as a sweetener in smoothies and puddings, but also in raw food cakes. They are a key ingredient in our popular raw food confectionery and make it something special.

Enttäuschende Qualität
Sehr sehr trockene Datteln, bin von der Qualität wirklich enttäuscht, hätte es wirklich besser erwartet. Datteln haben eine ganz komische Haut mit Luftblasen, leider kein Genuss.

Als Dattelkenner und Liebhaber war ich gespannt auf die Qualität dieser Datteln und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Diese Datteln sind wirklich Premiumklasse.
Ware verdorben
Leider waren die Datteln verdorben bei mir angekommen und meine beanstandung per Mail blieb unbeantwortet!! Einzige Reaktion einen Tag später: die Aufforderung, ich solle doch die Produkte bewerten. ..... und das habe ich nun gemacht. Ich werde hier nichts mehr bestellen, obwohl die anderen gelieferten Produkte in Ordnung waren. [Anmerkung Keimling Naturkost] Hallo Claude, vielen Dank für Ihre ehrliche Bewertung. Wir bedauern sehr dass Ihre Zweigdatteln verdorben waren. Da wir jedoch ein Naturprodukt anbieten, welches nicht chemisch oder mit hoher Hitze konserviert wird kann es leider in Einzelfällen zu fehlerhafter Ware kommen. Da die anderen Produkte fehlerfrei sind wünschen wir bei diesen einen guten Appetit. Saftig, vollmundig und angenehm groß. Kam direkt ans Naschen :-) Tipp: Stein raus, etwas Kokosmus und Kakaopulver (oder eine Kakaobohne) rein - fertig ist das läckererere Konkfekt :-) Und: gestern bestellt, heute da !
