Dehydrating film silicone
Plastic-free silicone (raw material silicate) or BPA-free plastic is the material of choice for drying dripping foods such as tomatoes, mangoes, etc. without leaving sticky residues on drying racks and trays. They are also indispensable for fruit leather, crackers and other gourmet raw food creations. Instead of short-lived baking paper, which is usually non-stick coated, these films can be used for years.
Are you a fan of thin raw food baking variations? Then our dehydrating films are ideal. All home-made delicacies can be easily removed from silicone, so even recipes that require delicate and sensitive results are a success. Colourful fruit leather compositions are just as easy to make as raw delicacies made from juicy fruit. Mushy and marinated treats also turn out perfectly. Why? Quite simply, the dehydrating films prevent both sticking and soaking through to the shelves below!
Tip: The dehydrating sheets fit perfectly on the drying racks. You can use the entire surface for your home-made treats. How about a wafer-thin wrap dough? Filled with dried mushrooms and fragrant herbs? You'll be amazed at how easily the dough comes off!
Experience has shown that it is an advantage to place the film on the work surface to coat it and then slide the tray under the film. This keeps the tray itself nice and clean.
