When the sweet tooth kicks in, there is hardly anything better than our natural Medjool Giant organic dates. They impress with their size and fleshy texture as soon as you unpack them. And then when you bite into them: sweet, full-flavoured and simply irresistible! Our Medjool organic dates in Supreme quality come from sustainable organic cultivation, are unsulphurised and free from artificial additives. Our Medjool Giant organic dates are naturally sugary sweet with a fine creamy caramel flavour. No wonder the Medjool Giant date is considered the "queen of dates" and the ultimate in date enjoyment.
Enjoy pure or in creative recipes
Our Medjool organic dates ripen in the Mediterranean region on palm trees towering up to 30 metres high. There they soak up the full power of the sun for months and develop their incomparable flavour. After harvesting, the dates are dried in the sun (up to 50°C possible) and are thus preserved without sulphurisation. Enjoyed pure, Medjool organic dates provide quick energy for work or sport. They are at least as good in fruity smoothies, vegan cakes and desserts. Incidentally, the natural sugar in the dates crystallises on the surface during drying - a sure sign that you are enjoying a natural product!
Sustainable cultivation for the highest organic quality
Our Medjool organic dates are backed by many years of experience in sustainable farming: the local cooperatives have often specialised in cultivating dates for generations and are constantly developing their methods. The date palms are organically fertilised and the vegetation on the plantation is strengthened by mulching the soil. This creates a vital soil that provides the palm trees with the best growing conditions. You can be sure that you are getting a product that has grown in harmony with nature and fulfils strict environmental standards.
Medjool dates provide energy and have a long shelf life
Medjool organic dates consist of around two thirds carbohydrates and are therefore the perfect source of energy for in-between meals. The dates also contain a lot of valuable potassium. Our body needs potassium for normal blood pressure and normal muscle function. And finally, Medjool dates provide fibre. So much goodness in one small fruit - you simply have to eat it!

Wunderbar weiche, herrlich schmeckende frische Dattel - meine Lieblingsdattel 😄! Immer gerne wieder!
Gute Qualität, sehr weich
Gute Qualität, Geschmack und Aussehen typisch Medjool. Allerdings sind diese hier wirklich seehr weich mit erhöhtem Restfeuchtegehalt. Es steht hier nicht direkt in der Beschreibung aber in den Produktbildern. Für mich etwas zu soft, vor allem wenn man sie mit anderen Trockenfrüchten in Zellglas-Beutel verpacken möchte. Diese hier matschen dafür zu stark. Vom Mundgefühl dürfen sie für mich auch fester und dennoch cremig sein. Logischerweise wird der Geschmack bei geringerem Wasseranteil auch intensiver. Preislich sind sie hier eher am oberen Ende der Bandbreite für Medjool.

Diese Datteln bestelle ich schon seit langem, über 10 Jahre. Anfangs waren die Datteln sehr hochwertig, Rohkostqualität, groß, frisch und saftig und sehr gut im Geschmack. Die letzten Lieferungen entsprechen dieser Qualität bei weitem nicht mehr. Leider.

Die Datteln unserer letzten Bestellung hatten leider nicht die gewohnt gute Qualität. Sie haben komisch gerochen und muffig geschmeckt. Wir hatten sie davor schon öfter bestellt und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Jetzt mussten wir über 1 kg Datteln auf den Kompost werfen - sehr ärgerlich!

Die letzte Lieferung ist okay, aber lang nicht so süß und cremig wie bei den letzten Lieferungen. Die Konsistenz und der Geschmack sind wie eine Mischung aus Mediol- und Deglet Nour Datteln. Schade, dass ich ausgerechnet jetzt 2,5 KG bestellt habe.
