Bitter apricot kernels: natural quality from wild apricots
Our bitter apricot kernels come from wild apricots, the original and unaltered form of the fruit cultivated today. The stones are carefully removed from the apricots, dried and then opened to extract the valuable kernel. These very bitter apricot kernels are further dried at low temperatures, which ensures that their germination capacity is fully preserved. Our natural, organic-quality kernels are completely untreated and ideal for use as seeds.
Production of apricot kernel oil for skin care
Our bitter apricot kernels provide the ideal basis for producing high-quality apricot kernel oil for cosmetic purposes. This natural oil is particularly rich in nourishing and regenerating ingredients that are ideal for skin care. It moisturises, supports regeneration and makes the skin feel supple - both on the face and body. You can also find suitable oil presses for producing apricot kernel oil at home in our shop.

In accordance with EU Regulation (EU) 2017/1237, which came into force on 27 July 2017, a maximum level of hydrocyanic acid has been set in bitter apricot kernels. Even the smallest amounts can exceed the recommended acute reference dose of 20 µg hydrocyanic acid per kilogramme of body weight. For this reason, our bitter organic apricot kernels may not be offered as food and are not suitable for consumption. Instead, they are ideal for the production of apricot kernel oil for cosmetic purposes or as seed.
