Algae oil with flavour: lemony-fresh instead of fishy
What many people don't realise: Fish only "works" as a source of omega-3 because it eats algae. Norsan goes straight to the source: microalgae. The added organic olive oil is rich in polyphenols (>250 mg/kg) and, together with the lemon oil, provides a pleasantly fresh flavour - without any fishy notes. Sustainably cultivated, gently processed
Norsan's plant-based algae oil is obtained from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp. - a microscopically small single-celled algae that feeds exclusively on plant matter such as dead leaves. Particularly rich in EPA and DHA, this algae is not taken from the sea, but is cultivated in artificial seawater in an environmentally friendly way and fermented in an aqueous environment. Extraction is carried out by centrifugation - a particularly gentle process that protects the sensitive fatty acids.
Production in an oxygen-free environment ensures that the oil is optimally protected from oxidation - for maximum freshness without an unpleasant odour. The oxidation value (TOTOX value) is a low 4 and shows: This oil is exceptionally fresh. And because the algae are specifically cultivated, the algae oil is already naturally very low in harmful substances. It is also carefully purified and controlled. The vitamin D it contains also comes from a purely plant-based source - for an all-round vegan product.

Die empfohlene Tagesdosierung liegt bei 5 ml, was 1 Teelöffel entspricht. In einer Flasche sind 100 ml enthalten. Bei normalem Verzehr reicht eine Flasche also ca. 20 Tage. Die angegebene empfohlene tägliche Verzehrempfehlung darf nicht überschritten werden, außer es wurde anders von Ihrem Arzt, Therapeuten oder Apotheker verordnet. Die Dosierung lässt sich mit den beiliegenden Dosierbecher einfach abmessen. Für Schwangere und Stillende gelten aktuell abweichende Verzehrempfehlungen, gemäß rechtlichen Bestimmungen sind dies 450 mg EPA/DHA täglich (bzw. alle 4 Tage 5 ml). Ungeöffnete Produkte sollten nicht direktem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt und kühl und trocken gelagert werden. Bitte beachte, dass bei Temperaturen unter 4 Grad Celsius Kristalle entstehen können.
