1.4 Vitamix Aer Disc mixing container for Ascent
Our customers regularly criticised the lack of container variety when the Ascent series was launched. Although the Ascent came onto the market with the ingenious cups and bowls concept and separate blender jug, otherwise there was only the 2 litre blender jug included as standard. With the Aer Disc container, there is now a container that was previously not available for any of the Vitamix devices in Europe. Now one more reason to choose the Ascent range. This new Vitamix container, with a maximum capacity of 1.4 litres, fits all Ascent models and is ideal for preparing or frothing even small quantities from 200 ml in no time at all. It opens a new door to a wide variety of flavours and textures. With the special whirling disc patented by Vitamix on the base of the container, instead of the wing blades normally used, you can produce the finest gourmet foams, mayonnaises or airy creams.
The patented Aer disc is a simple but very effective innovation that makes it possible to implement culinary techniques such as whipping, whisking, foaming and emulsifying with minimal effort. The initial liquid ingredients are captured through small holes in the rotating whirling disc and are foamed and emulsified in the process. Of course, more solid ingredients such as ice cube fragments, pieces of fruit, herbs and spices can also be mixed in, but although these are captured, they are not pureed and incorporated into the foam as whole pieces.
The result is an uncomplicated and creative way to create extraordinary products in your own kitchen that you would otherwise only find in a well-run bar or restaurant. The result is handmade cocktails of the highest quality, because unlike a classic mixing container, cocktails are cooled by ice cubes without destroying the ice itself.
Perfect and easily reproducible textures are no longer rocket science with the Aer disc container. Uniformly creamy consistencies, airy culinary foams or stiffly whipped cream, why not? If fresh fruit, vegetables or herbs are added to the mix, the whirling disc will only partially capture and chop the ingredients, providing additional texture and flavour. The results are easily controlled by the blender speed setting. So you will often be asked, how did you do that, the slightly crushed berries in the nice cream, the perfect hollandaise or béchamel sauce, the delicious non-alcoholic cocktail and much more? All with just one tap on the start button of the Vitamix, without a whisk or other special tools and secret information.
As with other Vitamix blender jugs, the jugs are BPA-free as they are made from high-quality Eastman Tritan™ plastic.

Der Aer-Disc für alle, die Cocktails lieben - ein Extra zu den eigentlich genannten Einsatzgebieten.
Ich habe mir zum neuen Vitamix Ascent 3500i auch diesen Aer Disc -Behälter gegönnt. Als gebrauchtes Teil aus Kundenretoure war er sofort lieferbar (als Neuware zu der Zeit nicht). Es sah jedoch wie neu aus und kostete obendrein etwas weniger. Bisher habe ich ihn zum Cocktails mixen genutzt, da finden sich tolle Rezepte auf verschiedenen Seiten - auch auf der Original-Vitamix-Website in den USA für alle, die Englisch können. Zu den Saucen, Schäumen und Mayonnaisen bin ich noch gar nicht gekommen. Wer Cocktails mag, wird diesen Behälter lieben - Pina Colada und Co geht nicht besser.
