Raw food psyllium husks
Psyllium husk refers to the seed husks of a plantain plant. It is native to very dry areas of North Africa and West Asia and is mainly cultivated in India as a useful plant for Indian psyllium. The plant is very similar in appearance to ribwort plantain, which is native to India and whose seeds are also edible and rich in fibre.
Natural swelling agent and filling food
The mucilage in the husks of psyllium seeds is what makes them so valuable: they allow the husks to swell up to 50 times their volume and bind moisture. Psyllium husks are therefore an excellent ingredient in raw gourmet cuisine and are used to thicken raw food dishes and desserts. Psyllium husks are also becoming increasingly popular in gluten-free diets. Due to its special swelling properties, psyllium seeds can make gluten-free cake and bread doughs easier to work with and keep them moist for longer.
+ Secondary plant substances such as important oils and mucilage
Our psyllium husks are becoming increasingly popular
Organic cultivation, gentle processing and gentle drying at raw food temperatures guarantee the high product quality of our psyllium husks. They are an excellent source of fibre as part of a calorie-conscious diet, as they fill you up and gently aid digestion. It is important to drink enough liquid so that the swelling properties can take effect. It is therefore best to drink 1-2 glasses of water when consuming the psyllium husks and then at least another 1.5 litres throughout the day.
Psyllium husks enrich baked goods and breads, but also fresh grain porridge and muesli, salads, fruit compotes and smoothies. They also improve the quality of gluten-free baked goods - both during processing and in the finished product.

Super!!!!
Ich liebe die Flohsamenschalen in Smoothies. Die Smoothies werden dadurch schön cremig. Aber auch zum abnehmen super, da sie sehr gut sättigen. Geschmacksneutral. 5 Sterne. Kaufe sie immer wieder gerne.
