Celery juice has become the star among power vegetable juices! The juicers in the MM series from Omega Juicers are perfect for this. The MM1500 is the continuation of the well-known MM900 model. It retains the outstanding juice yield known from the MM900. However, it also has additional functions for making healthy snacks. While the MM900 was designed for so-called single households with a daily juice production of 0.5 litres, the MM1500 can produce up to 1.5 litres at a time. Only the press auger has been taken over from the MM900, all other parts have been completely redesigned and made much more robust. For example, the feed hopper is now firmly attached to the juicing housing and has been enlarged from 4.5 to 5 cm. The locking ring and cap have also been enlarged and the juicing sieve has been adapted to the larger volumes. The MM1500 comes with a wide range of accessories for pureeing food as well as juicing. This enables the production of fruit and vegetable purees, sorbets from frozen fruit, vegetable drinks, energy balls and the processing of dough into pasta and grissini.

Celery, the green nutritional wonder

Celery is a power vegetable that becomes an effective tool for your own health through gentle juicing. According to well-known nutritional experts, it helps against many ailments from skin conditions to high blood pressure. What is certain is that the green perennials provide fantastic nutrient concentrates. Powerful 3-stage pressing technology and patented celery cap

There are three special features of the Omega Juicers from the MM series that ensure the unique juice yield and quality. Firstly, there is the three-stage pressing screw: at a gentle 80 - 100 revolutions per minute, it first coarsely crushes the celery stalks in preparation for the actual pressing process. After crushing, the plant cells are thoroughly broken up in stage two and the plant pulp is finally pressed in such a way that the delicious juice with all its vitamins, minerals and micro-nutrients is extracted.

The second stroke of genius is the patented celery cap: this clever, adjustable outlet screw is located at the very end of the pressing screw, in the very sturdy locking cap newly designed for the MM1500. You can use it to control the resistance against which the celery pomace has to be pressed out of the appliance in three settings. This allows you to adjust the outlet screw according to the consistency of your celery and thus maximise the juice yield. The results are extremely dry pomace and a fantastic juice yield. This is shown by the results of a comparison of the amount of juice with and without the celery cap (see diagram). With this technology and a low-noise motor, it is possible to achieve an optimum juice yield without any vitamin-damaging oxygen input, so that you not only get more juice but also more nutrients in every glass.

Celery juice in the morning, delicious variety afterwards

Look forward to colourful, homogeneous celery juice full of flavours and vital nutrients. Experts recommend drinking half a litre pure in the morning before breakfast. If this is too much for you as a newcomer, you can start with a smaller amount of celery juice and increase to 500 ml from day to day. It has proved helpful to juice a little less of the leaves at the beginning. The leaves in particular contain a lot of bitter substances and minerals that the sense of taste needs to get used to. After a period of familiarisation, the juice will taste better and better.
