Raw golden figs
The fig tree is one of the oldest plants cultivated and utilised by man. There are now over 250 different types of figs, and the trees can reach an age of up to a hundred years. The fig tree has been coveted all over the world for thousands of years. In ancient times, figs were an important staple food. It also symbolised prosperity and fertility. According to legend, the goddess Athena brought fig cultivation to ancient Greece. There, the fruit was appropriately dedicated to the god of fertility - Dionysus.
Rich in carbohydrates, alkaline and full of vital nutrients
Figs are one of the oldest foods in the world. They provide us with a wealth of carbohydrates, vital substances, digestive enzymes, minerals, amino acids and more. They are a sweet and filling food with only around 250 kilocalories per 100 g of dried fruit. While fresh figs are not available all year round, dried figs have a long shelf life and are particularly flavourful. They contain a wealth of ingredients such as:

The Extremadura growing region in south-west Spain provides our golden figs with extra sunshine. Organically grown and gently processed without sulphur or other additives, the ripe fruits are slowly dried at raw food temperatures. This is the secret behind their full-bodied flavour, which is reminiscent of honey. The consistency remains wonderfully creamy and the skin of the fruit tender. Our Spanish golden fig is a delicious treat for contemplative hours and at the same time a source of strength for sport, work and travelling.

Sehr süß und aromatisch
Dies Feigen schmecken gut. Sie sind sehr fest und trocken. Ich weiche sie ein, in Orangensaft ein Genuss. Solo sind sie schon sehr fest, da hat der Kiefer Arbeit.
Hervorragende Qualität
Die Goldfeigen sind vom Geschmack her sehr gut, sie sind auch nicht so süß - ein hervorragender Snack für Zwischendurch!
Köstlich!
Diese kleinen Feigen schmecken köstlich, nicht zu süß, mit einer feinen Honignote. Man muss aufpassen, dass man nicht zu viele auf einmal isst! ;-) Kauf ich sicher wieder!

Sehr gute Qualität
Hatte bisher nur Feigen aus verschiedenen Supermärkten gekauft. Diese hier von Keimling schmecken besser als alle anderen und sind auch von der Konsistenz her super.
Goldfeigen
Natürlich ist es Geschmacksache, die Honignote ist erkennbar, die Feige aber nicht weich und saftig und ansonsten eher unsüß und langweilg schmeckend. Sehr schade.
Goldfeigen
Das sind sehr kleine, trockene Feigen. Aus dem Bioladen bin ich die größeren, saftigeren getrockneten Feigen wie Protoben oder Lerida gewohnt. Diese Goldfeigen brauchen fast eine längere Einweichzeit als nur über Nacht, um weich zu werden. Und sie sind nicht sehr süß. Ich werde wieder nach anderen getrockneten Feigen suchen.
